Main line storm sewer on Indian will be completed today; the storm on Beverly will be started today or Monday, west of Indian. Storm services south of Beverly are completed. Services and laterals (smaller pipe from the mainline to the structures on the edge of the road) north of Beverly are ongoing. Beverly pavement is being removed today.

NICOR will be onsite for the next several days lowering the gas services that are in conflict with our road subbase.

The road prep will begin next week. The new road will consist of 4” of a stone subbase, topped with 8.5” of asphalt.

Storm sewer installation is not quite yet complete from Glenview Road to Beverly; once that is complete it will continue north to Wilmette. The contractor is currently installing the main line, and will come back and install services once the mainline is completed.

NICOR Work

Residents might notice NICOR trucks along Indian in the next week or two. The existing services are only about a foot under the pavement, and due to the need to put a strong stone base under the new road, several services need to be lowered. This work is outside our construction contract, but if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact any one of us.
